Courtesy of TierraCast: TierraCast’s unplated pewter finish is very “stamping friendly”, and a crystal accent on the Blank Charm looks so nice alongside the moon and star!
From Julie Bean: If you have a 4mm crystal setting punch, you can easily add this design element where you create a recess and set the crystal into it. As an alternative, if you do not have a punch, you can also glue the flatback directly to the surface of the charm.
Reboot: This project is a reboot because we are gluing on a flatback crystal onto the charm instead of metal punching and setting the crsytal into the punched depression . We are also using a darker TierraCast pewter jump ring instead of the lighter one pictured.The PDF for this project will show the metal punching/stamping technique.
